2012 - 2013 Performances

The Georgia Ballet is proud to present
Janusz Mazon's The Firebird. In this colorful story
set to Igor Stravinsky's captivating score, a magical
firebird helps a young girl learn a valuable lesson in a
strange new land. A prince, princess, and evil sorcerer
round out the variety of characters in this creative and
enchanted fantasy adventure. Also on the program is New York
City Ballet founder George Balanchine's first American
ballet, Serenade; a beautiful manifestation of
Tchaikovsky's lush and lyrical Serenade for Strings in C
Major.
