The Georgia Ballet was founded in 1960 with a mission to promote ballet performance and training, foster an increased public awareness and appreciation for dance, and provide dedicated and talented dancers with the opportunity for advanced level training and professional performance venues. The Georgia Ballet continues to show its commitment to the community through outreach initiatives, charitable ticket giveaways, benefit concerts, and scholarships programs.

Make a Difference

You can help:

Your Donation assists in bridging the gap between income and the actual cost of operating The Georgia Ballet’s professional company, school, and arts in education programs.

With your support we can:

  •       Engage our community and nurture their appreciation of dance by providing ballet performances of the highest caliber in a patron-friendly setting at Jennie T. Anderson Theatre, Cobb Civic Center

  •       Introduce the artistry and athleticism of dance to 12,000 metro Atlanta school children through enriching arts in education outreach programs.  These deeply subsidizes programs include tickets to our professional performances, lecture/demonstrations in the schools, long-term workshops, dance classes for children with special needs, and scholarship programs.

  •       Train the next generation of exceptional artists at The Georgia Ballet School
