The School of The Georgia Ballet stands as one of the most esteemed ballet institutions in Georgia, renowned for its dedication to classical ballet training, performance, and community outreach throughout the Southeast. Under the guidance of School Director Ashleyanne Hensley, the school offers dance education to students aged 3 and up, led by a distinguished faculty of ballet professionals from around the globe. The carefully crafted curriculum emphasizes strong classical ballet technique, with a focus on proper placement, musicality, and artistry.
Pre-Professional Division
Students aged 9+
Students may audition for the Pre-Professional Ballet Division, an accelerated program for those committed to pursuing ballet seriously. Depending on their skill level, students train 3-7 times a week. Many are accepted into elite summer programs worldwide with scholarships and achieve top honors at regional competitions like Youth America Grand Prix.
Conservatory
Students Aged 10 and up
Conservatory programs provide a unique opportunity for students to receive an accelerated and diverse dance curriculum during the daytime. Students will train 3 hours a day during the week, with optional additional hours on Saturdays or during the evening. They will also be afforded the opportunity to perform with The Georgia Ballet Professional Company and compete at Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) and/or Universal Ballet Competition (UBC).
Students must have 1-2 years of pointework and intermediate and advanced levels may audition. You must be in the audition for consideration of scholarship and a spot in the 2025/26 Program.
Auditions will be held Saturday, March 22nd 1:30-3pm.
